Bus Trip FAQFAQ’s  8/28 Restoring Honor Bus Trip

Can I get a refund if I can’t go?

The price of the ticket covers the cost of the bus rental and parking fees. Therefore, we are unable to refund your purchase.

Can I send someone in my place if I can’t go?

Yes, but you would need to contact us ASAP so we can get the person’s name and contact information on our roster.

Can I sit with my friends?

Logistically, we cannot pre-assign seats. If you wish to sit with someone, please make arrangements to meet up with them prior to boarding the bus.

What do I need to bring?

Check the weather forecast the day before, to see if you need to bring a rain poncho or sunscreen!

Comfortable shoes.

Water and a snack.

Spending money for souvenirs and dinner.

Medications.

Cell phone.

ID.

Camera.

Can I bring my child or teenager?

This is a family-oriented event.  If you feel that your child is mature enough to make the bus trip, and spend several hours in a large crowd, they are welcome. The cost per ticket is still $40.

Will I receive a confirmation? Will I receive a ticket?

Yes. We will send confirmations by email. If you don’t have an email account, we will send your confirmation by mail. Your confirmation letter will serve as your ticket.

Confirmations will be sent approximately 10 days before the trip.  This will allow us to include any last minute information, and to include the itinerary for the trip.

You will need to check in the morning of the bus trip, so we can get a total (final) count on the number of riders.  (This is where you can meet up with people you wish to sit with.)

What is the deadline for registration?

Once tickets sell out, they’re gone, so we’re encouraging people to buy their seats as soon as possible. Your registration is not guaranteed until payment is received.

When is payment due?

Payment needs to be made at the time of registration. If you register online, and prefer to mail us a check, please make sure you mail your check within 48 hours. The Blair County Tea Party reserves the right to cancel reservations that have not been paid for within 5 business days.

Please note that the Blair County Tea Party is definitely going to DC. Even if we do not fill all of our busses, we will still take a partially filled bus to the rally.

Checks can be made payable to “BCTP” and mailed to: “Blair County Tea Party, PO Box 54, Hollidaysburg, PA, 16648.” THANK YOU, and we look forward to seeing you on 8/28!
